The core of Laura's photography lies in her love of meeting new people and being exposed to new experiences, a result of her military upbringing. Laura has had a myriad of life experiences that she believes have all contributed to the flavor of her life--she was a high school Spanish teacher for seven years, interned both on Capitol Hill and with the State Department and has moved seventeen times. Laura's work has appeared on HGTV.com, in Celebrate Magazine, Babytalk magazine and a variety of other national publications.

Laura is a wife and mother of two young children, Jackson and Addison. She believes in the importance of family and cultivating a sweet life for her children. Creating little treasures for Jack and Addie to collect on their life journey is something Laura strives for daily, whether it be in the form of new experiences or through giggles. This is something Laura passes on to the children she photographs as well--no session is complete without silliness or connection. Children and all those that are framed through Laura's lens feel an instant connection and ease, creating for them cherished art that will last a lifetime.
